What’s new in 2025

2025 has been a busy year at People Resolutions and we’ve been hard at work with new features and improvements.  While we’ve been upgrading parts of our system to our new UI framework as they year progressed, we’ve also rolled out updated online documentation for all screens that have been upgraded.  We’ve decided to dedicate this update to take a look at all the features that have been released this year or will be released at the end of October.

New Features

New ways to log in

HR Manage can now integrate with both Microsoft Entra and Google OAuth2 to allow users to register and log in using their Microsoft or Google accounts.  The email address on their accounts must match the email address on the system which allows them to log into either the Windows application or Online portal with the click of a button.
 

Sending Messages

It is now possible to send custom emails and SMSes directly from HR Manage to multiple people at once.  The messages can contain tags that will be replaced with information from each person’s data record and can even include attachments.
 

Document Signing

We’ve done some fixes on our document signing and created functionality to generate sign requests in a batch without a workflow.
 

Integration Partners

HR Manage can now integrate with CognitoForms.  This feature can be used to allow a completely external person to complete a form on the internet which will in turn start a workflow in HR Manage.  External submissions can optionally be approved / rejected before starting the workflow and the responses captured and files attached on the external form will be transferred to HR Manage.  This allows clients that host their own private instance of HR Manage to receive input from outside their network.  More integration features with CognitoForms coming soon.
We are now also Sage Tech Partners and have standard integration for Sage 300 People.
 

Upgraded API Platform

It is now possible for technical administrators to create custom APIs in HR Manage that can be used by external systems for retrieving data from HR Manage.  See our online documentation for more information.
 

Online Documentation

We’ve created a new online help portal and updated articles as we released new features and upgraded screens. The Online Help is also integrated with HR Manage and context-specific help can be accessed on any screen by pressing F1 or the Help button in the titlebar.

Asset Register

In September, we released a new module for managing and tracking company assets.  While we’re still working to integrate it into our workflow module, it is already a fully fledged module with tracking and reporting capabilities.  Assets can be classified by category and type and assignments are directly integrated with the People Management module.

BI Dashboards

We are releasing our first version of our Business Intelligence Dashboard builder at the end of October.  We provide a range of tools available so that if you can dream it, you can build it.  No custom development needed.  Security can be enabled per dashboard so that only the correct people can view it and data can be combined from HR Manage as well as external sources including SQL Server, Web API, Excel, XML, Json and more.

These dashboards will eventually replace our old module dashboards and will become available for viewing online in the first quarter of 2026.

Employment Equity Report 2025

Companies have been panicking over the new Employment Equity report changes by the department of labour.  We’re already on it and version 6.3.3 (end of October) will include the latest template of the EE report that can be generated with the click of a button.  We’ve also made improvements on the EE Targets capturing editor to provide more informative calculations and information and it is 100% compatible with the previous versions.  Thus any targets captured on the current version will automatically pull through to the latest EE report when the new version is released.
